By accessing or using the ServiceLight platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you should not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ServiceLight provides an SMS-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform designed for mobile mechanics. Our service allows mechanics to:

  • Manage customer information and service history via text messages
  • Schedule and track jobs through SMS communication
  • Organize business operations without traditional software complexity
  • Communicate with customers through our SMS platform
  • Access customer and job data through our web dashboard

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

As a user of ServiceLight, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Use the service only for legitimate business purposes
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Respect customer privacy and data protection requirements
  • Not interfere with the proper functioning of the service

4. SMS Communications and Consent

Important: By using ServiceLight, you understand that:

  • You are responsible for obtaining proper consent from customers before sending SMS messages
  • You must comply with all applicable SMS marketing and communication laws
  • ServiceLight facilitates SMS communication but you are responsible for the content and compliance
  • Customers can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP"
  • Standard SMS rates may apply for you and your customers

5. Data and Privacy

You acknowledge that ServiceLight will process customer data on your behalf to provide the CRM service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to share customer information with ServiceLight and that you comply with all applicable data protection laws.

6. Payment and Billing

ServiceLight offers both free and paid plans:

  • Free trial periods are provided to evaluate the service
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • No refunds are provided for partial month usage
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Service Availability and Limitations

While we strive for high availability, ServiceLight is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service or that the service will be error-free
  • Immediate delivery of SMS messages (dependent on carrier networks)
  • Compatibility with all devices or network configurations
  • That the service will meet your specific business requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServiceLight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or customer information
  • Costs of alternative services
  • Damages resulting from SMS delivery failures or delays
  • Any damages arising from third-party integrations or services

Our total liability to you for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we may delete your data after a reasonable period. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before termination.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending notification via email or SMS when possible.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ServiceLight operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
